How to disable the ATT function?

Hi there, I m trying to disable the ATT function on the player. The manual is not much help, because there is no single word how to disable the function. Just with a remote control, which i do not have. I think a RESET could be a solution, but i would like to know how to do it anyway. Thanks a lot! M.

Re: How to disable the ATT function?

If you can remove the radio from your dash, unplugging its wiring harness for a minute should solve your problem - you will also lose your saved settings like preset stations and EQ. What type of vehicle is it in? In some cars it is easier to remove the radio than others. If it is proving too difficult, you could try disconnecting the battery for a minute and that should cause the radio to reset also.

My Sony CDX-L350 CD Player's volume buttons dont react no matter how hard i press them, and i cant adjust the volume

Hi Kenny,

There is a manual reset that is used as a catch all remedy to handle symptoms of an unspecified origin.

It's located on the front of the unit, behind the front panel, directly behind the "ATT" button. Get a paper clip and press it.

Best regards

My kenwood kdc-2025

Try loading a disc to see if it will play, if it does see if any of the function buttons work. My guess is that it might actually play cd's if they are loaded but keyboard might not be functioning for some reason. if you need service manual I may be able to help

Pioneer head unit

You have to have a "Car Kit" installed for your cellular phone, either Bluetooth or not. It would have a wire that would be connected to your Head Unit to enable the Telephone Mute or Att, as you choose.

If you dont have a car kit, it is of no use to you.

Best of Luck.

Sony cd car stereo

Your Cd Player has a cell phone mute wire (lt blue) to connect to a car kit.

You may have inadvertently connected it to something else, or the bare wire may be making contact with something causing it to engage the ATT (MUTE).

Best of Luck.
