Re: Samsung TXK2754 27" main board cracked after fall

You would have to contact the manufacture. a better solution would be to take it to a shop and have them repair the board. It would involved using acitate glue and the bridging the wire traces back with wire bridges (jumper wire soldered to the traces). If you are not able to do this on your own a local shop could do the job.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

I have a Sharp 32F5-40 television set. It fell about 2.5 feet to my head (.....ouch) to the floor. Now there is a red section that is ameoba in shape and is big in the center, but gets...

yes 100 % it is repairable ..... but it depends on tv service engineer ..... expert tv service engineer can solve that .... & non experts cannot ........... when tv falls down (like in your case ) ..... on mainboard cracks will develop due to fall....... then many connections (tracks) will get disconnected........ main board has to be observed carefully & then all the broken connections must be reconnected ..... that's all ............. your tv will again works normally ...... chances of tv tube & components getting damaged due to fall is ZERO %................... so approach expert tv service engineer ........

Dropped tv 5 inch on its face while moving. Tv

It is highly probable that the main board is cracked due to the drop. An experienced TV repair person can run jumper wires across the cracked board. You can verify this by opening the back of the tv up and pulling out the main board and search for cracks on the bottom of the board.

My tv fell and I think the sensor is ruined. The remote now won't work. The plastic isn't broke, but I think sensor is broke as the tv fell on it's face.

most of the time, the circuit board cracks around the remote sensor, when there is a fall like this. the TV will have to be taken apart to check this. Do you have that capability?

I have a Sony Trinitron model kv-a2921b. The TV

I don't think your TV is totalled! It's more than possible that a speaker connection on the main board has come adrift and just needs pushing back in. Check connections on the speakers themselves and when you trace back the cables there will one or two push in connectors.

It may be a good idea to get the speaker connection plugs checked and resoldered. It is also possible that the fall could have jolted the audio IC and this should be checked for dry joints or cracked print on the board too.

Hope this helps (:-)

Keeps turning off

It is likely you have a bad power supply which is quite common in newer tv's. Otherwise it is a problem with the main board. Either way it will have to be repaired and tested
