No more steam coming out.

I have a 1867 Bissell Steam mop and steam no longer comes out of the bottom. The orange light comes on and the bottom section warms up, but nothing comes out of the bottom.

The channel between the steam chamber on the pump side and the exit chamber of the steam chamber is probably plugged, I opened up the chamber at both ends and cleaned it out with CLR and a heavy wire.

Steam coming out of relief valve

Check for clogs at the spray tip. With the unit unplugged, remove the mop head by taking out the single screw at the base of the unit. CAUTION: The spray tip may be hot. Using a paper clip clear any clogs from the spray tip.
The filter may also may need to be replaced if it is blue in color.

Bissel steam mop - no more steam

You have to open up the cleaner, disconnect the pump from the steam chamber you then have to put it in a vise and remove the brass hose fitting on each end. Clean the springs and chambers but the main thing is a channel that joins the two chambers has to be cleaned out.
