Question about Apple iPod nano

Deleted some files and now unable to play songs

Hi Everyone,

AHHH...URGENT HELP! I have an IPOD nano...it was working perfectly until about this day when I stupidly fiddled with the files in the ipod. I was trying to do wot, still don't get. I plugged-in my ipod to comp and deleted some F01-F19 folders from the F:iPod_ControlMusic folder. After that, i'd sync my ipod wid itunes. I still see the pics and the songs in the ipod, however none of the songs seem to play. I am totally stuck over my own stupidity.

Folks, please pitch in help...Urgently :-)

Thanks in advance

Simply you need to delete everything on the ipod and then uninstall it and then reinstall it. this will replace those folders, that yes, you did stupidly remove, and it should be no more than a ten minute task even with replacing the data.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

USB-IPOD play is stuck. The receiver reads the ipod and tells me what song is up, but will not play. No error message and was working perfectly with same ipod before.

I have the exact same damn problem. It tempermental, whenever it wants to. I never had a problem until a few days ago. Sometimes I turn on my car and it will play a few songs and than when a next one starts it stops, sometimes right from the get go it won't work. Same thing as you though, it displace the song name but doesn't play it. Its so frusterating.

I have a A1051 Ipod I deleted some songs and I still see them in my ipod but not able to play them please help!

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

IPOD NANO SONGS ARENT WORKING!!!

Test the songs that are not playing on the iPod in iTunes and see if the original file is still playable on iTunes if the song still plays re-sync your iPod could be when iTunes copied the song it must have failed or timed out, if that fails re-syncing try restoring you iPod Nano i have had this problem before and I just re-synced and it worked fine!

I want to erase music of my ipod nano

Go to itunes and click on a song that you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard and it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete this song from all playlists and off the ipod and click yes and it will delete. Unfortunately, it will not let you delete it from the ipod menu without connecting it to a computer.
