Question about Frigidaire PLMV169DC Microwave Oven
Hey i have a frigidaire microwave. over the range ...plmv168cc1 is the modle number. can u tell me how to remove the thermal fuse. i removed the two screws and took off the front .. i do see something left of center but i cant remove it. i just dont want to break it i think its the thermal fuse but not for sure.. has what appears to be a screen on the end of it feels like it should twist out...but not for sure..so where is the thermal fuse and what does it look like or how do i remove it.
First of all, be sure you have unplugged the microwave from the power. You can find exploded views of similar models (the PLMV168) here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383 These drawings can be very useful. A screen on the end? Sounds like a sensor. This makes me very very concerned, your desire to remove some part, but you're not sure what it is, and we have no background as to what the oven is doing wrong, etc. We have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk If I can be of further help, feel free to contatc me there.

Thank you for your post, friend!
Based off the information you have provided you would like the exhaust fan CFM specifications for your Frigidaire microwave. The information I have found is a 300/180 CFM. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
