Question about HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook
I have a hp compaq nc6000. There is not an option for wireless connections. Im pretty sure it has a built in wi-fi card. I turned the switch on the blue light comes on and it makes a noise but an icon does not pop up. When i go into the network connections it does not even show an option for wireless. When i plug it in to the router it works just fine. Ive tried downloading drivers. I dont know if maybe im just downloading the wrong ones please help me
Most of this model come with a B wifi card. You need to get you a wireless G card. Go to this link to download the drive and utility software for the G card. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1637
