You can find all drivers you need for the Optiplex on Dell's support web site (link).
Choose the correct Operating system form the drop-down menu and look under Network. There is a download for the 3Com 3C905C Integrated Network Card, which is hopefully the model in your machine. Download the version for your harddrive and run the executable.
Here is the direct link for downloading the file.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

When you purchased the PC the NIC(Network Interface Card) driver should be present in the Mother Board CD. Just run that CD and install the network driver, you can also ask for the MB CD from where you purchased your PC, since it must be still under warranty. Also ask your ISP for the domain address and the gateway too. After that you should be able to get connected to the net..........sodeep

You'll have to download the nerwork driver on another system. The driver is found on support.dell.com

Sound problem in dell optiplex240 i installed driver but it did't works.

If you just updated the driver try this, Click Start, then control panel, then performance and maintenence, then See basic information about your computer, then the hardware tab, then device manager, then sound game and video controllers, then click your sound card (It will normally have audio in the title) then rollback driver. if this is the first driver you've ever had for your sound card follow all of those steps exept the last, and substitute it for update driver. hope this helps, Daniel

Santosh i want to download drevers for gx240 video

Here's the link to the Dell driver download page for your GX240 computer:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PLX_PNT_P4_GX240&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

There are 3 options of VGA driver for your machine type, so you may have to download more than one before you get the correct driver.

I hope that helps.
