HOW DO I STOP MY PHONE PREDICTING WORDS WHEN TEXTING

There is a setting that turns this on or off. For that phone it may be called t9 or predictive. to turn it off you go the text entry screen press ABC (bottom left corner, push upper left button)....Scroll to any other option beside T-9 or Itap (that's the predictive text) then press okay.

From another forum:
You may choose the 'input method' between 'Moto Input Method' and 'Multi-touch Keyboard'. Please visit 'settings' followed by 'Language and Keyboard Settings' and choose the one which makes it easy for you.

How to disable all predictive text on blackberry pearl

Blackberry uses what is called SureType for predictive texting. I don't recall the exact menu option to look in on your model of phone, however it is very easy to disable. Instead you set the keybard input to "Multi-Tap," which does disable all predictive texting. The exact instructions are available in the User Guide at www.blackberry.com, which will be specific to your model and will very clearly show you what to click on to change the option. Takes less than a minute to turn it off! Hope this helps :)

Text problems with my Compaq laptop

perhaps you don't have the correct VGA drivers loaded or the screen resolution is not set to the best for your display!
The first two passwords are more than likely imputed before the system VGA drivers have been loaded!
You shouldn't really use it on your "Lap" hence most manufacturers have changed to the word "Notebook". Your clothes can block the cooling ports (causing over heating) and believe it or not there is a theory that they can give off a type of radiation which would be better off not being in your "Lap"

Turn off the predictive text for E250

it is the same key as to change case. If you press it repeatedly, it'll cycle through various options in the top right of the screen:
initial caps with predictive,
all caps predictive,
lower case predictive,
numbers,
initial caps without predictive,
all caps without predictive,
lower case without predictive.

When T9 is not displayed, predictive text is off.

Just to spice things up, Samsung's idiotic software designers made it so that depending on the situation you're inputting text, the order that things cycle through is different, so you can't just press it a certain number of times to turn it off, you have to pay attention to the icon in the top right.
