Does it have 2 plugs 110 and a 220

This is the oven spec, so it has to be 220 volts to support that wattage. The oven and broiler are electric and the hob is gas. Best of both worlds. (I am a chef)

How do I install a 220 volt outlet using existing wiring?

I would recommend getting an electrician. If you chose not to any mistakes you make can be a safety hazard and possibly kill somebody.

In this area we are required to use a 4 wire connection; Phase, Phase, Neutral (bare or white in the US), Earth (green in the US). You are missing the Earth connection and will need to run a wire back to your electrical panel and connect to the earth bus. Earth and Neutral are connected together at one point in your home. In older systems the Neutral was used for the earth connection as well, this is dangerous if a fault occurs. The Earth may also be called ground as could the Neutral but they are different even though they are connected connected together at one point in your system. If you have an older electrical system and do not have the appropriate Earth connections I would highly recommend hiring an electrician, electricity can cause fires and kill.

see this steps and fix it. God bless you
Although not as common, if the oven won't turn on it is possible that the appliance is not receiving proper voltage. Electric ovens require 220 volts of alternating current. If for some reason the appliance is receiving significantly less, the oven won't turn on. Check for proper voltage using a volt meter at the socket where the appliance plugs in.
Make sure there's power getting to your range, oven or cook top. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in.

Good evening. I have a Whirlpool freestanding electric range GFE461LV that I bought in 2009 and for the first time I will install it. This is because I am from Brazil and since 2009 we were expecting our...

It is 220 V with a neutral conductor. If you are installing it in the United States, local electrical codes may require using a 4-wire cord (two wires for the 220 Volt connection, the neutral and the cabinet ground); otherwise you can use the neutral for grounding with a 3-wire cord. The cord and two-pole circuit breaker in your electrical service panel should be rated for 50 Amperes.

You can download complete installation instructions from Whirlpool. You can also find the Owner's manual and other documentation at the Whirlpool site.

Power supply in Brazil is not universal over the entire country. Your range was built for 120 volt, 60 Hertz power supply. If you are in some areas, you may not have the proper voltage available. 127 V found in states of Bahia, Paran? (including Curitiba), Rio de Janeiro, S?o Paulo and Minas Gerais (though 220 V may be found in some hotels). Other areas are 220 V only, with the exception of Fortaleza (240 V).

Brazil does use 60 Hetz, but if you are in an area which only supplies 220 or 240 volts, you would need some type of adapter to convert that to 120 volts for your gas range. If you connected to the higher voltage, you may have irreversably damaged the electronic control, requiring control replacement, before connecting to the proper (120 volt) supply. I would expect 127 volts to operate your range, but if the voltage varied up from that, it could damage the control. Even in the US, voltage variations of 108 to 125 are rather common.

I want a 100 watt electric stove with oven to put in my bunkhouse so I don't have to add 220. I don't even know if there is such a thing.

I believe what you mean to say is: you want an electric stove that works with 115-120 volt and not 220-230 volt. Yes there are stoves available that work from 115-120 volt but they are vbery limited in availability. also, do you mean a true oven or just a stove top burner ? stove top burners are fairly easy to find in the regular 115v plug-in style at hardware stores or through catalog order (usually not at appliance stores). If you are looking for an oven with 115v plug-in ability, it will be a bit herder to find.

Hi there- I have three year old KGRC707 gas range. I am shipping it to east Africa (overseas) that has 220V electric standard. wil it work as it did in the US with or without a transformer? also can you...

I see a few problems with the coversion to 220VAC I will send a set of manuals and a phone number. Here is what the instalation manual says about wiring. If codes permit and a separate ground wire is
used, it is recommended that a qualified electrician
determine that the ground path is adequate.
Check with a qualified electrician if you are not
sure whether the range is properly grounded.
Do not ground to a gas pipe
    A 120-volt, 60-Hz, AC-only, 15-ampere, fused
electrical circuit is required. A time-delay fuse or
circuit breaker is recommended. It is recommended
that a separate circuit serving only this range be
Electronic ignition systems operate within wide
voltage limits, but proper ground and polarity are
necessary. In addition to checking that the outlet
provides 120-volt power and is correctly grounded,
the outlet must be checked by a qualified
electrician to see if it is wired with correct polarity.
The wiring diagram is included in the literature
package. The wiring diagram can also be found on
    the back of the range.
NOTE: The metal chassis of the range must be
grounded in order for the control panel to work. If
the metal chassis of the range is not grounded, no
keypads will operate. Check with a qualified
electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the
metal chassis of range is grounded.
I was thinking it would help you to know and not have your question unanswered. Good news or bad. Personally I see no problem stepping down the voltage and making a typical receptical. My views do not change requirements so best I follow those that made the eletrical requirements. Another problem is the cycles or hz. HZ is defined like this 1 Hertz = one time per second ad 60 is 60 per second. In europe and most countries outside the USA operate on 220 V @50 hz. A typical 120 V clock would run slower and a record player also. I think it would be better if you use something designed for the local area you are moving to. GE profile stove, Gas-electric

All oven elements are 115/130 VAC. Stoves use 220/240 so that you can use both the burners and Oven at the same time. Since the burners are Gas, then 220/240 VAC isn't needed.

(Note: 220 is simply dual 110 hot leads with a common ground)

To install electric stove ...what is the recommended and required amps number

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR APPLIANCE before beginning any service procedure.
Most of the electric ranges have either a 3 prong or a 4 prong gray electric cord that usually has a 220 plug, follow the color wires and match them to the wiring panel in back of the range. I am not sure on the amps, you may want to check with your local appliance dealer and also the customer’s owner’s manual, so check on the plug in the wall and then purchase the correct plug according to the number of prongs in the outlet and once installed level the range with the leveling legs. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local appliance dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions. You did not give me a brand name or model # so check with the silver tag on the actual appliance and sometimes that will tell you the number of amps.
Thanks, Don – The Appliance Man
