Question about Black & Decker CCS818 Chain Saw
We put the oil in, and as soon as it's resting the oil leaks out again. Should we just take it back to the shop or is this a common problem?

i had the exact same problem and i went into the hand switch box (the box on the handle with the lever attached to it) and cut out the safety switch and then took the two wires that were on the safety switch and soldered them to two poles of a heavy duty toggle switch. That fixed the problem for that year but one year later i.e. now, theres another problem with the mower and i can't figure out what it is. I have broken this thing down to the smallest parts and still can't figure out what is wrong. Bottom line try to fix it with the switch solution but don't buy another one. BLACK AND DECKER SUCKS!!!!

I'd put penetrating oil in it and tap the chuck with a plastic hammer. That should free it up.
