Vertical Hold doesn't Hold

Entire picture slowly scolls up...followed by another then another and another... Never seems to hold where it should. Makes watching it very annoying! This happens with and without a DVD playing, or even in the player. Picutre starts to scroll soon after monitor power is turned on

Re: Vertical Hold doesn't Hold

This would denote some kind of vertical sync problem. I would begin by checking the vert sync circuitry. To do this you will have to have an Oscilloscope, and DVD containing a steady-state picture. The oscilloscope is used to measure the vertical sync rate and the vertical sync pulses. Taking into mind that ther is a video signal present but it is in the black range. If you do not have an oscilloscope it makes troubleshooting this hard. in any event you will also need a schematic to see what waveforms you should be seeing. If you do not have a background in electronics you may have to have someone who does look at this unit.

How to resit service light on VW passatt 1.8T 2002

Try removing the negative and positive lead on the battery for fifteen seconds. Then, hold the contacts together for 10 seconds and then reinstall them. Next, leave the driver's side door OPEN and turn the ignition switch to ON (but DO NOT start the car) and let it remain there for 30 seconds. This should reset the check engine light.

I have an Audiovox starter, model 5BCR03 in a car I bought and I can't get it to start the car. What is the button sequence to start the car?

a non specific general answer would be to make sure you unlock the doors, if that's a feature on your remote, then press and hold the start button for a couple seconds. then wait about 5 seconds, the parking lights should blink and the car will start. if this doesnt happen, check audiovox online and see if they have a user's manual for your product, if you cant find it, there should be a tech support phone number or just a general customer service number on their website you can call.

try having the vehicle speed sensor checked out. They are not very expensive and could be causing your transmission to not shift with the increasing vehicle speed.
