How to recover "raw" drive data:
When a hard disk drive bracken or loss her partition and if you try open this drive then you got this message "Disk not formatted" .
At the times you should use any "raw" data recover software .
use recover "partition damage" software download.
If does not work, you may have to format (use quick format) the drive and then use recovery software to recover your files. Here's some information about format recovery, think you need to take a look, very useful how to recover formatted files
Because the first few records stored on the disk-drive have been corrupted (or are physically unreadable), you get the "please format" message. Hopefully, the other 99.9 percent of the data-blocks stored on the disk-drive are OK.
Search online for 'data recovery' software -- it reads through the disk-drive, block-by-block, trying to merge blocks of data back into files that can be copied onto your 'C:' drive.
Possible Reasons: 1. Your USB flash is too old and can be corrupted with time went on. As you know no hardware can be life-long ever. 2. There are bad sectors in the specific area of the disk that is required for a file system, e.g. for a boot sector or the FAT table sector. Since such a drive is obviously not possible to use, Windows refuses to format it. 3. Sometimes, you cannot format the drive to the FAT file system if it has been formatted to a file system which is not recognized by Windows. Such a drive should be reformatted to NTFS first, and then to the FAT file system.
Solution: Step 1: Try the problem USB on another computer (better be most common Windows OS). See if the device can be accessed normally. This way can clear the buffers and eliminate incompatibility. Sometimes it will let the error disappear and make the drive work normally again. Step 2: If the first method still won't help. Try recovering the data with some data recovery programs first of all. If you are running Windows, you can useData Recovery for Windows. For Mac OS X users, turn to Data Recovery for Mac Step 3: After the files are recovered, then follow those steps to try format the error USB drive (connect the disk to your PC first). My computer -> Properties -> Manage -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management -> select the problem drive and then format it from here. Step 4: It's not over. After formatting, try use the data recovery software recommended in #2 to re-scan the drive to see if you can harvest more data. Good luck!
As long as the drive is spinning you should be able to recover files with any decent file recovery program. I've just spent half a day recovering about a 1000 photographs that had been deleted and apart from all the unwanted stuff that also gets recovered, it all went well.
If the drive is not spinning or is making clicking noises then your options are much reduced. You will most likely have to use the services of a professional data recovery company - and they don't come cheap.
it is difficult to recover it from that partition..use this software "Recover My Files" if it is recover then ok otherwise use "Virtual Lab"
if it is not again recoverable then noway to recover. after all efforts one thing u can do is to quick format it and then try recover my files to recover from fast formated drive....but chances r very less something like wallpapers and songs can be recover. Good Luck. Hope the files will recover
