Re: the printer keep informing that the colour ink not...
There could be 2 reason for this problem. Either the ink tank is not installed correctly or the printer need to be reset. Follow the below steps which might help you resolve the issue:
STEP 1: Check the Ink Tank
If the ink tanks are not locked into place, ink will not be supplied to the print head.
Turn the printer on.
Check that the printer is powered on and open the printer cover. (The print head will move from the right to the center.)
Confirm that the ink tanks are installed properly.

Install the ink tanks in the order shown below.
Close the printer cover.
STEP 2: Rest the printer
By resetting the printer's power, the print buffer is cleared and certain sensors are reset. If there is invalid data in the buffer, or sensors are stuck in a particular mode; errors may occur.
Follow these steps to reset the printer:
Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .
Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).
Turn the printer back on.
If the above 2 steps does not resolve the issue, you printer might require a repair.

My 1st thought would be clean heads also. If ink is tanks only not heads take ink out and try cleaning heads with liquid cleaner available @ Staples or similar stores. Another fix might be to use alignment utility for your printers software; however before you do any of this if ink is old or nearly empty replace ink.
You say all colours look blue? If this is true, does black look blue? If so then black is not printing at all so blue takes over. Did this machine print colours ok before you changed cyan? I would suspect that you are using compatable ink cartridges and they are suspect. check that all the cartridges are in the correct positions. Then run the cleaning cycle and see what happens. If the problem still persists then I would change the print head. The print head part number is QY6-0073-000.
Try to clen the print head,go in the driver of the printer, next maintenance and clean the print head.If the problem persist you need to replace the print head. The print head is under the cartridge. If i have been useful please give me a vote :).Thanks
Yes for sure If your colour ink is down there is the possibility that the print may vary in colour. As the colour ink level decreases you might have got the error to change the ink. Hence it will tend to change the printing commands. To further confirm on this you can disconnect printer, uninstall and reinstall the printer software, then connect the printer for hardware detection and installation. now do a head cleaning maintenance and a test printing. If there is still no change it will be better to replace the colour cartridge after using the menu for ink cartridge changing so as to get the ink indication correct after installation. Hope you try this out. Good day
I got a new print head @ "staples" office supplies. It didnt cost me anything!!! Kodak had probs with the head, & gave a bunch to staples.....i changed the head, put in new inks, again...got a calibration to run...& things printed np!!!
your printer cartridge or head unit ink channel (some of color or black ink channel) constipated, you may try:
1) if your ink cartridge is not new, take out the cartridge put the bottom surface touch cleaner liquid(special for ink printer) or water for 1 hr (you can see ink spread water), then set back and test. refill enough ink maybe necessary.
2) still trouble, you need clean print head ink channel to do same thing above, if your print head is separated from the cartridge.
You can try going into your print settings/preferences and checking magenta only. printers you need to keep a watchful eye on your
ink levels, because if you are out of ink, you can not print in ANY
color, even black.
If the above thing not works You can begin by making sure you are not using anything above 24-bit colour
(RGB) in Word.
Also: Word does not use a colour profile. It doesn't make any changes to
the colour, so it doesn't compensate at all. The only colour profile
between Word and the printer is your Printer's colour profile.
