Question about Philips Magnavox 27MS343S 27" TV
Well...,i could see the power light come on when i press the power button on my magnavox television. but nothing seems to come up on the screen.it is just black. i thought that it would be the little fuse that sit on the inside of the television...,but i have checked the fuse and it is still good.i do not know how the picture tube works..., it was my brother's television...,he told me that it was burnt out...,what ever that means...,but he told me to take it from him because it took up space. and now i want to try to fix it myself...,so...,may you help me?
Hey...,what causes the screen to be black? when i plug the tv in, the light to the power switch comes on when i press it. i don't understand the power supply section...,and what is the proper output voltage?....,what is a horizontal section too? do i need a multimeter?...,to check the power supply?...., i've checked everything and the tv is still the same. may you help me?...,again.

As there is high volage in side tv so please do not open back cover unless you know. As set is dead so problem 1 power supply section see proper output voltage is there. 2if it is ok check horizontal section. 3 as you have said that fuse has not blown means there is not much dangereous in your tv. good luck
