SOURCE: burner replacement

If you ermove the control panel on the fom you should be able to slide the gas manifold back a little thus putting the nozzle into the burners.

The manifold has a couple of screws at the sides

SOURCE: Jenn Air gas grill with cast iron burners...only

It sounds like your cross-over **** located underneath on the back of the burner is needs cleaning. Take your burner out, turn them over and your will see a slot on the rear of the burner. wire brush the slot until it has a clean ****. This cross-over **** is what brings the flame to the right side.

I am having trouble finding a burner for my Patio Classic Gas Grill Model : NX400! Can you please help me find one?

Unfortunately, your model Patio Classics Grill has been discontinued by the manufacturer. However, many manufacturers use the same type burner and those can be used on your grill. All you have to do, is compare your old burner (shape, size & length) to one of theirs. I have included a link to an online grill parts store that stocks hundreds of burners. I am sure you will be able to find one that matches yours there.

The first burner seems to burn very low and not very hot

Hello,
If it was me, I would, first try to clean them and see if that improves the flames. During the course of cleaning you can determine if the burners are corroded and needing replacement or just caked up and dirty. Are the burners stainless steel or cast iron? Cast iron lasts longer, and tends to get smaller in flames when it's seams corrode shut. Plus it is easier to clean. Stainless steel tends to corrode and fall apart, causing flare ups and unsafe use. My burners don't put out out much of a flame. Model CGBD48RSBX. Ten years old. Can I clean them?

That depends, Are the burners stainless steel or cast iron? The cast iron burners are heavy duty and can usually be cleaned, but the stainless kind may just fall apart after a few years of usage. It just may have clogged burner holes from rust and drippings that can simply be wire brushed. I'd use an air compressor to blow out debris from inside the burner as well.

How do I attach the hose to the cast iron burner,do I just thread the brass fitting to the cast iron burner or is there something missing

Hello. Yes, the brass fitting goes on to the burner. At the other end of the hose is the valve and the larger connector for the propane tank. Enjoy your turkey! Regards, Joe
