Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Today, my phone froze up a lot and i kept losing service, so i kept restarting my iphone over and over. Then finally, i lost service completely and tried to restart my phone to bring service back and that did not work. So i went on itunes, and restored my phone, and when i got to the activation portion... It keeps saying itunes does not detect a sim card! i'm frustrated... please help
Calm down. Could be a number of things causing lost service. Restart the PC with iphone disconnected. Bring up itunes, plug in iphone and let the activation sit for a couple of minutes. If status does not change about sim card, eject the sim card using a paper clip, insert that paper clip into the tiny hole on the top of the phone. disconnect the phone, insert the card again, and reconnect. Let me know if this helps.

I have repeatedly ejected my SIM card. Upon reentering the SIM card it still states no SIM

The pins that read yor sim card are loose, there should be six. this is a hardware problem not a software problem. unless ur any good with a soldering iron i think you should send it off to be repaired. you've got insurance right?
