Hi Kotesh, If the PC concerned is a desktop and you can open it up and see the motherboard, it is possible to reset the CMOS/BIOS. This action will set the CMOS/BIOS to default, remove all personal configurations including any password(s) that you may have set. The reset jumper normally is very near the Lithium battery If it were a laptop, then that's another issue. Most present day laptops for purposes of security made it a point to really protect passwords such as this. Some older laptop versions have a total reset button underneath. Still others also have a battery that you can remove to reset the CMOS/BIOS. Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back with details of your PC's brand/model or at the very least your motherboard. Good luck and kind regards.

How do I delete bios password on acer v3-731?????

It seems that you need to reset your BIOS in order to remove your forgotten password. Unfortunately, the reset procedure of the laptop pc is pretty harder than the desktop pc because you need to locate the BIOS battery and remove it. For acer laptop the BIOS battery is underneath the motherboard, so you need to dis-assemble it until you locate the battery and remove it. Once you remove it, wait for at least 2-5mins then put it back again, all of the BIOS settings will be back to default value including date, time, boot config., etc., and your BIOS password will be remove.

Hello Praveen,

Download FE Explorer from the link

Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone.

Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.

You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt

Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.

You will find your password in that file to unlock the memory card.

Bios password forgotten-->erased files??

your files will be safe. A BIOS password will not affect files on a hard drive, it just affects your ability to enter the BIOS screen on your laptop.

Hdd primary pasword is lost cannot open hard disk drive showing error codes 06231 and so on cannot boot the computer cause the disk drive is asking for primary hdd pasword and is no taking the password...

Most modern laptop HDD or BIOS passwords are not resettable and don't come with default passwords to unlock them if the password is forgotten.

You will need to contact Acer and find out what kind of warranty coverage your machine has. It's likely that you will have to pay for the services they provide or pay for a new hard drive yourself and re-install Windows.

Toshiba SPM30 bios password remove

All you need to do is open one of the covers on the backside of the laptop and remove the CMOS battery (it looks like the size of a quarter) for a few seconds, then place it back into it's holder and put the cover back on. You can then power up the laptop and then re-set up all the settings in the BIOS in order for the laptop to work correctly as all previous settings have been forgotten including the password.

Good Luck!

Forgotten the password , without it coputer wont boot

Sounds like you have set a password in the BIOS. If you have forgotten the password then you will need to reset the BIOS settings to their default. This is usually done by setting a jumper on the motherboard. You are going to need to get your motherboard's manual and find the BIOS Reset jumper switch. Once you set this jumper properly, the settings in the BIOS will be reset to their default values.
