Well .. its really hard to explain sorry guys. The problem is that my pc starts normally all things are running fine. After few minutes the display is gone and the LED light of my pc turns yellow. I don't hav an external video card. I can hear the power supply turned on when i start my pc. because its all working fine. then suddenly the display is gone. The duration varies time to time. Some times 15 mins sometimes after 1 hour. Sorry i can't explain the problem more clearly! :(

Does it display anything on the screen when starting up?
Can you hear the power supply turn on, does it turn off when the led changes to yellow.
Is it using onboard video or does it have a external video card?

Here's the bad news.
Dell had the 270 and several previous models made for them and the manufacturer installed cheap capacitors on the motherboards to save money. If your machine is still under warranty Dell will replace the motherboard. If not, they will sell you a refurbished one if they still have any. If you are handy with a good soldering iron, look at the motherboard and find the aluminum capacitors that show bulging or leaking from the top or bottom. Replace them with caps of identical value and higher quality.
Otherwise, follow the good news.
The good news is, Dell makes many more computers for you to choose from and purchase, and the capacitor problem has been resolved.

Yeah. I know.
