Question about Refrigerators
The water is from defrosting coil in rear of freezer and there is a drain pan under coil to make water drain to pan under unit where it evaporates from compressor heat.possible cause for water not going where it is supposed to is drain is clogged with foreign matter or frozen shut.I would suggest checking door gasket seals if you are getting this often moisture is getting in and causing lots of frost for unit to deal with and could lead to a repetitive problem.
