Question about Coby MP-C851 512 MB MP3 Player
Hey there guys, i have a huge issue. I formated my mp3 player and now it just won't go. I tried going to the Coby website but all you can download is specs guide (lame!) How can I get it playing my music again?
To upload file to the COBY MP3 player, I went to setting, went to USB setting's, changed MTP mode to MSC mode then I was able to get access to folders with-in the mp3 player.

Hey try to get the video file you are converting to .mtv to convert to .mov first.I had the same problems until I tried it that way.Someone else somewhere says mpg is a good format that the converter will read well and convert properly.I never tried it though. However I find that .avi files will give you problems. This is because .avi is a container not a format.
Also remember Youtube videos download as flv files and if you use MediaCoder like I do,to convert from flv to .avi you will have problems because the actual format will be Xvid and the container .avi.
fFor the sys err problem..visit the Coby USA website ...there is a firmware fix there. The actual link is on this site in another Coby mp 610 question.
I hope this works...let us know
