Question about Computers & Internet
I was using Olympus Master 2 software yesterday...moving pix from it to a My Documents folder...got Microsoft message: ''Olympus Master.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.'' When I try to open the software, after I click off the first window which gives user instructions, the Microsoft message comes up and I'm unable to use it. Have tried 10 times, no change. I'm trying to get pix ready for creating a website...now what?
This is solution for you:

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

OK, to help clarify my fix so you know exactly where the spaces are, type this line, and where you see an exclamation mark ( ! ), replace it with a space. Again, this should all be on one line from a Command Prompt window.
This process takes a few minutes to run, so please be patient, and wait for it to complete before using your PC. I would recommend that no other programs are running while you do this. The Command Prompt window should state when the process is finished. Because I am a technician working in an organization with almost 1000 users, and am seeing this problem on several PCs, I created a batch file so I don't have to keep typing it.
Again, once it finishes, open up Internet Explorer, then go to Adobe's site and try to install Flash.
Good Luck folks!

If Windows Media Format 11 Runtime is listed in Control Panel under Add or Remove Programs, you will receive this error. You must uninstall Windows Media Format 11 Runtime before you can install Windows Media Player 10.

Hello welcome to FIxya!
Here you can check this procedure on how to open your files again.
"1) Check your Recycle Bin
2) Do a Folder/File Search for each of the Grey Folder Project names. This will display all Folders & Files with that Project Name. You are looking for an .stx File. If it's there, right-Click on Project Name / Open Containing Folder & Copy it to your My Projects Folder. Then you should have both the Grey Folder & .stx File for the same Project name, showing in your My Projects Folder.
If the Search doesn't display a .stx File, you can create a new one, by Opening a New empty Project, which will create a My Movie Grey Folder & a My Movie .stx File, Save to your My Projects Folder. Delete the My Movie Grey Folder & Rename the My Movie .stx File to the same name as your original Grey Folder."
So ...after finding my "lost" movie file, with its file name, under Documents\Pinnacle Studio\My Projects i then went through the following procedures using your great advice Colour;
