if you have power and the RAM sticks and everything is seated correctly then there must be a problem either with the cpu or the CMOS chip (both can be replaced)if you have power and the RAM sticks and everything is seated correctly then there must be a problem either with the cpu or the CMOS chip (both can be replaced)
if the unit goes on-- then you must be able to get to the BIOS (set-up screen) and soon as you power on try hitting F2 every 2 secondsif the unit goes on-- then you must be able to get to the BIOS (set-up screen) and soon as you power on try hitting F2 every 2 seconds
okay so you have power- can you get into the BIOS setup? also if your fan was disconnected that could be very harmful to the cpu as it would overheatokay so you have power- can you get into the BIOS setup? also if your fan was disconnected that could be very harmful to the cpu as it would overheat

If you have a boot menu the problem is likely not the Bios. No beep codes? Some PC's will give hardware error codes in the form of long and short beeps through the MB speaker. Otherwise a bad boot sector on the hard drive would likely give you an error message, like ; NTLDR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
Check the power and ribbon wire connections to the hard drive. If you have recovery disc/'s, doesnt hurt to try! Otherwise its a new operating system, new hard drive, and searching for drivers. Good luck to you!
It seemed that the laptop is booting to the network to correct this
1. Go to the BIOS Check if the hard drive is detected by the computer (Hard drives are usually shown as alpha numeric)
2. If the hard drive is detected make sure that the hard drive is the first boot device
3. Save all changes and restart the computer
4. If the hard drive is still not detected you have to take out the hard drive and put it back in (reseat the hard drive)
5. Go to the BIOS again check if the hard drive is detected if not replace the hard drive
The blue screen of death is a serious problem. One ofthe causes could be overheating or could be because the graphics card isdamaged and doesn't work anymore. Try to use Registry cleaner and be freeof blue screen errors
this is becuse of the error in the hard disk remove the error hard disk and conect as slave to a working computer make the working harddisk as first boot my clicking boot in bios right click my computer and click manage then click disk management you will see the two drive partition now scan the faulty hard drive or format the drive and install the windows
A blue screen means operating system error. Your operating system will have to be either repaired or reinstalled using your recovery disc or operating system disc. A blue screen can also occur with a hard drive failure/crash. It's about 50/50 between system error and hard drive failure. If you have any issues or problems during or after the repair/reload of the operating system, then it's the hard drive and it will need to be replaced.
