HI KEVIN ,CLEANED THE CONDENSER REMOVED DUST USING COMPRESSED AIR FROM COMPRESSOR ,NICE AND CLEAN.THE FAN IS RUNNING WITH THE COMPRESSOR SINCE I RESTARTED IT. IT HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS NOW ,THE FRIDGE IS STILL NOT GETTING ANY COLDER.THE FREEZER BOTTOM SHELF IS COLD AND FREEZING BUT THE TOP SHELF IS NOT FREEZING, THERE ARE WATER DROPS COMING FROM A VENT INSIDE ON THE ROOF OF THE FRIDGE WHICH CONNECTS THE FRIDGE AND FREEZER.THERE IS AN AIR FAN INSIDE THE FRIDGE ON THE BACK WALL WHICH I THINK CIRCULATES THE COLD AIR.WHEN YOU CLOSE THE FRIDGE DOOR THE LIGHT AND THE LIGHTS ON THE THERMO CONTROL PANEL GO OUT, AND THE FAN COMES ON FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS THEN SWITCHES ITSELF OFF.DONT KNOW IF IT IS SURPOSED TO STAY ON CIRCULATING THE AIR THROUGH OUT THE FRIDGE AND FREEZER VIA ALL THE AIR VENTS.? FRIDGE NOW HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR 3.5 HOURS COMPRESSOR HOT ,CONDENSER NOT,AND FAN IS STILL RUNNING,THANKS DAYLE, BACK TO YOU.

HI KEVIN JUST WONDERING IF YOU RECIEVED MY POSTING ON THE 22-APRIL 2009 IN REPLY TO YOUR QUESTIONS. THANKS DAYLE

HI KEVIN,THANKS AGAIN .WOULD THAT BE THE FAN ON THE INSIDE BACK WALL OF THE FRIDGE,THE ONE THAT COMES ON FOR 20 SECONDS WHEN YOU CLOSE THE FRIDGE DOOR THEN SWITCHES ITSELF OFF. BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY FAN I CAN FIND BESIDES THE ONE DOWN AT THE CONDENSOR .IT SWITHES IT SELF OFF WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR AND ALLWAYS HAS DONE BUT WHEN YOU CLOSE THE DOOR IT COMES ON FOR 20 SECONDS THEN SWITCHES OFF.WILL THAT BE THE FAN OR SOMETHING WHICH CONTROLS THE FAN ,THE ONLY REASON I ASK IS THAT THE FAN SEEMS TO WORK OK BUT DOES NOT STAY ON.WHEN YOU CLOSE THE DOOR. SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS BUT I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING .THANKS AGAIN DAYLE

Check and clean the condenser. Unplugging the system allows it to cool off. when you plug it back in it will cool until the heat rebuilds if not rejected through the condenser. Make sure the condenser fan comes on when the compressor runs. A faulty fan motor will cause the same type of problem.
It could be also be issue with the thermostatic . Let me know does the fan comes on on restarting the refrigerator?

Let me know....
Thanks
K

Sorry for answering late, my computer was down.
This seems issue with the fan motor in freezer compartment the cool air was not circulating both problems made the fridge not to cool and drip water.
Rest all should be fine with your fridge. Get the fan replaced that should resolve the issue.

    Thanks
    Kindly rate the solution.

There will be an evaporator coil which is hidden out of sight where the freon
evaporates, and a fan which sucks air through that evaporator coil and blows
most of it into the freezer compartment. you can also get the control board (giving power to the fan) continuity checked.

Let me know if you need further assistance
    Thanks
    Kindly rate the answer

Refrigerator is warm, but freezer is cold and still making ice. This is a 3 year old Amanna Bottom Freezer model. There is frost in the top of the freezer drawer when I putt it out.

you will need to defrost it. the freezer is what keeps your fridge cool. the vent where the cool air goes up to your fridge is sealed or frozen.
unplug the fridge and open the doors and let it defrost.
plug it back in after a few hours and it should be working again.

Both Fridge and Freezer quit working properly at the same time.

I will need the model number as shown in photo below where the locations are most likely to be. While I am waiting I am going to go over some models like yours to see what may possibly be wrong.

Bosch KGU31124 Freezer Not Working

I have the same freezer and get the same problems. Ice forms on the refrigeration fins beind the plastic shroud at the rear and completely blocks the airflow. The fan that moves cool air around does not work then and freezer temp goes up. Ice will often push the shroud forwards so that the door does not close properly. Warm moist air get in and just increases the ice problem.

I take the shroud and fan housing off the rear (4 screws and a wire to the fan) and defrost thoroughly using a hair dryer. You can then see when all the ice has gone..

It sounds like the light switch may be keeping the light on when the door is closed. Faulty Switch. Regards Advisor
