I have a msre206 reader writer but I lost the cd that it came with. I need the programs and usb drivers that were on that cd. for it asap. Remember that its a: msr(E)206 r/w NOT:msr206

Try connecting using the different COM port settings (mine was COM 4). The setting can be changed within the software.

Basically, when you plugin the unit to your computer/laptop, the program will be installed to your computer's harddrive. You dont need to use another harddrive. Here's the manual of your unit. Go to page 5.
