Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I want to use the psp as a test monitor for cctv, i have been told you can do it throughthe usb can it be done?
Yes indeed. you need simply a usb to mini usb hub cable ( about 15 bucks) and hook it in, go to usb mode on the psp it will have a few options. naturally th epsp wont recognize the system immediatelt, so give it time and all will be solved. if this doesn't work, then i recommend changing psp settings on your computer to allow the psp tpo recognize it immediately.

SOURCE: usb connection failure
This is usually a problem that involves a fault in the USB cable. My suggestion would be to try a different USB cable and if that doesn't help try using it on another computer as it may be a fault with your USB port.
