Reset the CMOS setup after putting the battery. You have 768MB RAM. So check with the alternate memory module with different slots. If not helpful, check the RAM with another PC. Lastly get the BIOS updated or motherboard repaired from component level motherboard repairer. You may have damaged the motherboard by putting undue pressure while plugging the connectors.
You can install one, two or three
modules. Each memory module can hold a maximum capacity of 128 MB of
standard SDRAM chips, or 256 MB of registered SDRAM chips so maximum
memory capacity is 384 MB of standard SDRAM memory or 768 MB
registered SDRAM memory.
Operating System: # Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later # Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit editions)
Hard Disk: # 430 MB
Memory: # 512 MB RAM
Optical Drive: # DVD-ROM
Other: # 1,024 × 768 or better monitor resolution # Mouse or tablet
Where these are the minimum specs I would recommend at least 1+gb memory and a good graphics card and a P4 or AMD processor running at 1.8ghz or better, and that would depend on how in depth you get into the program
