The scannerof my HP PSC 1410 just doesnt work anymore? I need to scan some phtos and save them onto the hard drive. How do I get it to work again?

Okay It is probably a driver issue, to solve this follow this: 1. Right-Click the "MY COMPUTER" icon on the desktop. 2. Select "MANAGE" 3. In the window that pops up, find the option "DEVICE MANAGER" in the left window pane and select it. 4. In the main window browse down the list of devices until you come to "IMAGING DEVICES", expand it and see if your scanner is there. 5. If it is not there you need to install it as well as check any cables connecting it if it is there but has a yellow triangle with either an '!' or '?' covering it< you need to download the drivers from HP 6. If you do indeed need the drivers for your scanner here is a link to the drivers for your scanner just copy and past the link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=441115&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&submit.y=0&submit.x=0&lang=en&cc=us Just select your operating system and download and install the file on the page that follows Good Luck i hope this helps! My scanner works if it has to send a scanned image to the printer to print. But if I try to save the image on to my PC, the computer gives an error messsage which says,"Computer cannot detect any scanner device". What is to be done? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver software. doesnt help much. If any one could help, would be great and thanks in advance.
