Question about Motorola Mobility H500 Wireless Headset

1 Answer

Won't charge! Just purchased 2 of these bluetooth headsets and when you plug the charger into the wall and the other end into the ear piece, just get a quick flashing blue light, on both these brand new ear pieces! They don't ever show a solid blue light showing charging. Did I get not one but two defective bluetooth headsets????? Please help. Called Motorola but no help. Asked about the chargers .... these are brand new and using the chargers that came with them. Hard to believe we bought two lemons! Need help or its back to the store they go.

HEADPHONES AND SPEAKERS Hi There Try this, VOLUME Try Adjusting the vlume on your PC first. Check the volume on the Headphone too if there is one. CLEANING Using a dump clothe. Wipe the plugs with a twisting motion. WIRELESS\BLUETOOTH Check your battery if it is drained. Try replacing them witha new one or charge them if they are rechargables. If all fails then You may have a Sound Card problem. Using a spare Speaker or Headphone check it if it works. If its not then its Defective and needs replacement. If its working then your Speakers or Headphones are defective. Try fixing them by cleaning or checking the Continuity of its cables using a analog Multi tester. Hope This helps =============================================== If you are having trouble with a Newly bought items then return them a demand a replacement or a refund! You may have purchased a reconditioned\repaired\factory defect product.

The same kind you use to charge an android style cell phone. You can get a USB cable that has the correct end for the headphones and use your computer to charge it too.

My ear piece is not working, when I put it on charge the light does not show it is charging what can I do ?

When there is no light, while connected to the charger, it is NOT charging. You should checK the charger and the power cord. Eventually check the connector in the headset.
Perhaps you even can borrow for a few moments a charger from a friend? if another charges connected the light goes on, you need another charger. If nothing changes I think the little battery inside is defect. Don't bother buying and replacing the battery, when it almost costs the same as a new headset.

How to us a bluetooth headset to pone

  1. Link it to your cell phone. Cell phones can be easy, but nothing is easier than keeping it in your pocket when you talk. Use a Bluetooth headset to have a hands free conversation. They are typically worn over the ear, and can be used without charging for one to four hours.
  2. Use a Bluetooth headset with your PC. You will probably need an adapter to link up your headset with your PC, and they are placed in a vacant USB port in your computer. It enables your PC to communicate with and through the headset.
  3. Pair your Bluetooth headset with your PC in order to use it for VoIP applications. You must set your headset to the discovery option and allow your computer to roam and link with the headset.
  4. Keep it charged. In order to get the most life out of your headset, keep it charged when you aren't using it. This will ensure that it is ready whenever you need it. Use the standard house charger at home, and buy a car charger for traveling.
  5. Adjust the volume. Make it easy on your ears by lowering the volume to a level that is comfortable. When you choose a setting that is too loud you can hurt the ear drum and if you set it too low you may strain to hear the other person.

H12 bluetooth will not charge

As the headset is repeatedly charged, the pins on the charger starts to not reach the blue tooth ear piece to charge. I clean the dust around the edges on the contact area and was able to get it to charge
