Question about HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Color Cartridge All my screen says on my printer is, "remove and check color cartridge." I took it out several times and nothing seems to be wrong with it, it is half full. Also, when i tried to restart the printer, it said "Shutting down" for the next 2 days until I pulled the cord. what is wrong with it?

If a Cartridge looks OKAY, it doesn't mean it is OK. You can not say it is ok. Turn out from the printer and install a new one then continue.

I suggest you run the 'Tap 10' diagnostic test pattern for your HP PS 2600 series printer model...this will display the electrical health of the ink cartridges and confirm that your printer is operational (I am guessing one of the ink cartridge control lines is open).

YOU NEED TO LET THE PRINTER RE-ALIGN ITSELF AFTER INSTALLING PRINT CARTRIDGES, THE PRINTER SHOULD HAVE PAPER IN IT TO DO THIS, THE TEST PAGE PRINTED WILL THEN NEED TO BE PLACED IN THE PRINTER ON THE GLASS, PRESS SCAN, THIS SHOULS RESET YOUR PRINTER.

New tri-color cartridge has a problem. I can't see what.


I have an HP Photsmart C4100 printer. I purchased remanufactured ink cartridges (both black and tri-colored) from Vivasmart. The black one works fine, but when I installed the tri-color, I got an error message that says "Print cartridge problem" The following print cartridge has a problem:
Tri-color.
And I can't print. The screen on my printer says "Remove and check color cartridge." I have done this several times and it still won't print. I have turned off the power, removed the cartridges, and unplugged the unit, but it still didn't help. Any suggestions?

HP Color Laserjet 2840 refill problem


It may be that the cartridges are the problem? Usual fix is to go back to before the problem and start again. If you don't have old good cartridges, you may have to get new cartridges.

Remove & check color cartridge


Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

I am getting a cartridge error. The cartridge is not a new one and it had not been removed. I followed the insructions in the book for cleaning the copper colored contacts but to no avail. I have turned...


OK, If the printer has 2 or more print cartridges, then certain cartridges must be inserted into the correct carrier. Make sure you have not mixed / switched the cartridges into the wrong carrier..

ALSO, What printer model number? And, what is the cartridge number?

Changed color cartridge and getting error


I had the same problem with my X8300 printer. As the printer was less than a year old Lexmark sent me a new printer. I will keep this printer until it to goes wrong and then buy another brand. Lexmark - cheap and nasty, I am afraid.

Error 1203 cartridge error


There seems to be something wrong with the color cartridge that i had refilled. Even though the place that refills them says theres nothing wrong with it, the printer wont accept it. I just removed it :) thanks!
