Big black screen in picture

-   My Sylvania 42 inch Plasma, approx. 1 year old, all of a sudden starting having the middle part of the screen blacked-out. And when it doesn't do that, when displaying a channel the images start on right right side of the screen and comes back in on the left of the screen. In other words, the images are reversed ! Just starting doing it. Could this be a digital cable signal or the TV itself ?-   Lindeez
