Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
We have just returned to our home after 2 years to stay and the tenants must have never even wiped the microwave after one use. The entire inside is covered in light brown/rust colored grease film that I cannot get off. The user manual clearly states to AVOID professional oven cleaners, abrasive cleaners and the like. Soapy water did nothing. Vinegar helped a little, but still horrible considering was given to them in new condition. Any advice on how to really clean out the entire inside without damaging the microwave/oven functionality or interior coating?
Try simple green. It is great at eating through grease. It may take a few times but it works. It is biodegardable. I used it at one of my old jobs for cleaning grease off of glass and use it in my home as well.
