Re: reparation

Can't get the screws to turn to open up the unit. Where can I take it to fix? I hear the power pin rattling inside the unit.

Re: reparation

Power pin probably came loose. If you can open up the unit and re-solder the power connector to the board. If you need more assistance re-post and I'll tell you in further detail. Also, make sure the end of your power cable is getting juice.. flow.. is hot? live? has power to it.

2012 - has worked fine. suddenly won't turn on. ??

The battery may be faulty, try connecting the GPS to your computer to see it will connect and starts charging. If it does not connect you have a serious problem probably not worth reparing as the cost can be as much as a new one.

My tomtom 920 simply won't turn on, I used it yesterday and it was fine, though it did warn me that the battery is very low. I have charged it for 1hr but it still won't come on. What could be the problem...

The batery is finished, even if you plug it in the cigar lighter and the green light goes on, your TOMTOM will still not work when the batery is dead..get one real cheap on ebay.
Good luck

Iq3600a battery replaced for low battery message..even

Hello there
i would suggest first make sure you have the right charger for the device
next try removing the battery and inspect the terminals where the battery connects and clean with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
check to see if they are slightly bent or corroded or worn out.
next inspect the battery it'self to see if any of the terminals are corroded or bent and clean as nessassary .
replace battery if needed and have the batery tested ok?
i really hope this helps you solve your problem.
best regards michael

My Garmin Nuvi 710 GPS doesn't switch on

Connect your Nuvi to a PC using a USB and then hold the switch to the left for 15 seconds. It should then power up after a soft reset

I can't turn it on - GPS does not work.

Have you tried charging the unit from the computer? This can sometimes help.

Garmin Ique 3600 - Won't charge at all

There are larger capacity baterys avalable.
I saw several different size baterys reported to fit the 3600 on the web.

I am currently looking for a parts doner 3600. If you want to part with yours.
