Question about Washing Machines
Model fisher & paykel IW 709 the machine keeps filling with water at start of cycle, stops when machine is turned of so inlet valves ok. it seem as thow the pressure switch is not working have tryed blowing gently into switch but still keeps filling.is there any thing else that sences the water level????.have adjusted water level manualy but makes no different.it just keeps filling.thank you.any body assistance apprecated.
A lot of wahing machines use a bunch of micro-switches to turn the various solenoids on and off. If your washer has that type of switch, it could be sticking, subsequently sending an "on" signal to the fill solenoid.
