Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Hi my HPM door chime does not chime. Its a D641-pfl. I thought it might have been the battery in the remote button but I have had a look and the light shows when I press the button. I thought it might have been that the button had a nick in the rubber, ie. not making contact but then the remote light when I press the button comes on. My fear is it's the received. I've unplugged it and there is evidence of a former cockroach nesting site. Now gone. Can you advise how I test this? I also note both remote and chime (plug) seem to have a switch/circuit on the back the remote has 8 channels (7 is selected) but the chime only has 6 and all are selected. Someone may have played with it. I hope this makes sense.

I would recommend replacing the battery in the remote button. There may be enough battery power to light the light, but it usually takes a bit more to transmit the signal to the main unit.
