Question about Hoover F6212-900 / F6215-900 SteamVac Agility Upright Vacuum
The dirty water is not going into the dirty tank, instead it is leaking out the bottom of the unit and leaving HUGE puddles on my floor!
I would check the lower hose assembly. it seems they wear out where the handle closes and opens put the handle down and look in to see if its broke. if so its only like 20 for a new one and a pain to get the old one out....

Check the little door at the back of the unit where the hose attachment plugs in. It has to be shut really tightly and it takes a quick fist smack on it to get mine to "click" and be shut. If that isn't sealed it could leak both clean and dirty water to the floor.
Also, take the dump tank off, check the filter (near the top where the dump tank connects on the machine side) is clear. Also make sure the rubber seal around the filter isn't loose or cracked. Then put the dump tank back on making sure the bottom is seated well first and then CLICK the top into place when you push it to the upright/in place position.
If you are using the hose attachment, make sure it is clicked into place tightly. I have to put one hand on the front of the machine to push toward the back while pushing the other hand on the hose to get it to click tightly in place. If it's not really snapped in there, it will leak.

Remove the clean water tank.
Recline the handle and let the cleaner lay flat.
Remove the dirty water tank lid.
Reposition the front panel located on the outside of the tank in the center. It should be flush to the tank, even straight across and pushed down as far as it will go.
Assemble the dirty water tank lid back on from the front to the back. The lid should not lift up from the front.
Give it a try! The cleaner should now have suction. Hope this helps!
