Question about Samsung HT-X50 System
When I play a DVD I cannot hear the spoken audio track, only the music. I've tried all the settings: Cinema, Matrix, Stereo etc, it is all the same. The Adverts and Trailers on the DVD playback with no problem, it is only during the movie itself. TV audio is perfect. Tried different DVDs and get the same result. Any suggestions appreciated.
I had this same problem and checked all of my cables and wires. Come to find out one of the wires that connected to the central audio speaker (the one that the audio track comes from) was unplugged. I plugged it in and that fixed it! My audio track is back! So make sure that all of the speaker cables are properly connected! That might be the source of your troubles!

I've had the HT-X50 system for over two years and have not used it to view DVDs because of the same issue above. Only music and background sounds could be heard, voices were very very low. I just re-adjusted the cables to the central speaker and now I can hear it all. I continue to be unable to hear anything from the tv. All sound is from home theater system. Kind of annoying.
