Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I have a dv9009us that was working fine till today. I went to start it and when it came on and I logged in the screen turned black. I have rebooted, I have unplugged all the power source and I attached to my flat screen tv to see if the tv could work as monitor. It does the same thing on the tv. It comes on, then it turns black. The tv actually tells me that it lost signal. Any idea what this could be?
The response to my posting directed me to HP's website bulletin which identified the issue and issued an extended warranty. Unfortunately, I am outside the parameters by about 2-3 months and am going to be stuck with a piece of junk for a computer. HP should have issued a recall instead of issuing a bulletin indicating that if you have a problem contact us and we will fix it during this period. The product is defective and they knew it was defective and did not do anything about it.
By the way, my unit is a dv9000us. I do not know why is coming up under the dv6000 listing.
Thank you for your help.
