Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527, and it has had problems slightly overheating for a while, but nothing too terrible.
Lately though, the fan has been REALLY loud, whirring and buzzing until I finally just have to shut the laptop down for a while. I can't keep it on for more than 4 or 5 hours without it starting, sometimes it starts only 30 minutes after turning it on. I have had the laptop since 2007 and it's never made this noise before.
Help? Do I have to take it to a repair shop?? Does it cost a ton of money?
Most likely sounds like your hard drive. Mine did the same thing starting that loud whirring noise and overheating a lot. i took it into geek squad at best buy and it cost 199.99 for the diagnosis of the problem and the repair ( if you want just a diagnosis its 69.99) and then had to buy a hard drive ( i went for the 320 GB for 109.99) and they installed it for free same day in and out. took the whole process about 5 hours on a friday afternoon.
