Question about Kenmore Elite 22.4 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator with Adjusta Cube Ice Maker
"CE" means the main board and the display board are not communicating. This problem is usually caused from a loose or broken wire. This can be at the main board located at the bottom of the cabinet in the compressor area, at the display board itself or in the door. First disconnect the power from the unit. You can now check for a loose wire connection, at the module under the cabinet or at the connection, at the bottom of the door. If the wires are ok, the display board will need to be taken out to check and the inner door panel may have to be removed to check the wires. Both of these parts can be difficult to check, even for a technician. I would recommend having a technician make these checks.Good luck with the machine. Please do post comments and results.
