Hi.There is no Particular display IC (filter).The tracks of the Display is directly connected to Rap IC.If the Rap IC is damage there is way to fix this.It can be only repaired by making jumper or replacing of LCD socket.The cost will be charge between 300 to 500 INR.You can see it from this

it is possible that the voltage to the filament of the display is absent. This is normally a 3.6 volt AC which comes from the transformer and it can be lost a the connectors or the circuit board. It will be best to use a multimeter to trace the voltage to the display unit. check the voltage to the display driver IC, check the negative grid voltage to the display , if there is an open resisitor of the feed to the display voltage to the IC. Finally check the continuity of the filament of the display unit.
The driver IC is also a suspect , sumulate heat and see if the fault comes up easily which can confirm the case.
it is the main displays problem!! sometimes it is just because of an IC or it may be the displays problem! u show it to a technician and tell him to put a working test display! if it works the replace your display, or just replace the display ic and see. reply and rate!
change the display IC near the main board strip connector, there r two ICs the one on the right side is for mini display , re heat it if it doesn't work after changing the IC ;)
