Question about Lisle Pneumatic Oxygen Sensor Remover 43900
I have a 2004 Hyundia Elantra. The original sensor has 5 wires (Blue, black, white, yellow and gray). Bosch universal replacement sensor (before catalytic converter) has 4 wires (black for signal; white (2) for heater and gray for ground).
Can this work and if so how....
Yes it will work it is a uiversal 02 sensor place the black and gray wires together and connect to one black wire connect the white to white and the yellow to white this has a heated 02 sensor so twist them together to make sure it's right before you crip them together. the 02 sensor has a signal wire that is black and a heated wire that is black the two white wires are ground hope this helps and if you need more help post back here. the car only needs the heated part to warm it up faster to go into closed loop and the other white and black wire is the signal from the sensor telling the computer how much voltage you are getting from the 02 sensor.
