Qwestar MVP360A AC Adapter

Hi. I am looking for the adapter that will let me use my Qwestar QK-DVDM1 player in my house rather than just in the car. It's a Qwestar AC/DC Power Switch. MVP360A converts 110V AC into DC 12V and lets you bring QK-DVDM1, MVP360 into your home. Does anyone know where to buy one? I tried discountmobilevideo.com and they have none and can't order any more. Thanks.

- Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is I want to send this player over to my husband in Iraq, so a power supply may not be the lightest-weight solution. But I will keep it in mind if I can't find anything else. Thanks again.

- Hi. Thanks so much for trying to help me. The owners manual says: supply voltage 12V DC (11V-15V), test voltage 14.4V, negative ground. The description for the AC/DC power switch I am looking for says "converts 110V AC into DC 12V and lets you bring QK-DVDM1, MVP360 into your home." Any info you can give me is much appreciated. I may also try going to Radio Shack and see if they can help. Thanks again for your help and have a great day.

- Found it! Thank you for suggesting Radio Shack. I went there today and told the guy what I needed. He had exactly what I wanted - a "portable AC to 12V DC power supply" (Radio Shack model 22-505). Basically a black plastic box where the cigarette lighter plug plugs in one side and the other side has the prongs for a wall outlet. I brought the player with me so I was able to try out this adapter right away and made sure it works.
Thanks again for your help.

Purchase a power supply, this will allow you to plug your car cord into the house.

Available at most electronic stores, radioshack is your best bet.

Good Luck

- Can you check the label on the player for the power requriment, is should say soemthing like 12V, or 9V DC, near the jack, or on the label on the back of the unit. See what i can find for you, Kudos to your husband for serving our country.

- Radioshack will carry one for that, however you will need to bring the unit in to the store as they need to match up the plug size for that.
