Dell P992 Monitor-Need default settings for front panel buttons

I have a Dell P992 Color Monitor. My 5 year old son has chronically pushed front panel buttons for years, and onscreen color has changed over time. I then attempted to fix it myself by changing settings; of course, that only made it worse. Main window is smaller than screen now, and all colors are now dim and muddy--including white. All settings: convergence, geometry, and size/center are off now, and I would like to reset to factory defaults. I prefer brighter colors and for window to fit entire screen and would also like to lock those settings so that neither one of us can change them again. Thanx.

This should be an (LCD) screen. They are the ones that usually have this kind of problem. You will need to take it to have it checked if the problem is the VGA signal cable leading to the monitor. They will check if it is properly connected or has gone bad. It is very unlikely that the screen is bad. When this VGA signal cable goes bad it could result in a totally blank screen.
