Just buy an aftermaket harness ( they are around $15-$20) and splice the colors together

I have a 1999 ford ranger ,got a new radio, need color coded diagram to install it

They make harnesses to plug into the truck harness and the radio. I recommend this. Because you don't want to cut the wrong wire and fire the computer. IT does happen.

Ok my explorer was broken into and they stole my cd player but cut my factory wiring harness off so i need help hooking up another cd player to the factory wires without the plug

I suggest you go to a junk yard find another 2000 Explorer. Cut the radio wires and plug out of that truck. Then just match up the colors and attach that plug to your truck. I would suggest soldering the wires together to avoid problems down the line. Good Luck!

Need To Wire In A Aftermarket Radio In A 2008 F-150

Easiest way is to go to Crutchfield.com web site, When you order a radio face plate or factory wireharness they give you a free installation kit which shows the color codes of each wire for the radio. Also, when you get the wireharness you don't have to cut any factory wires, it just plugs into your factory harness and you connect the open ends to your new radio.
