It is not the deep fryer. It is positively the OIL you are using. I used Costco\'s Kirkland brand canola oil in a new deep fryer. The oi;l foamed and rose up more than 10 inches and spilled out of the deep fryer. I replaced that oil WHICH IS UNSAFE with Wesson"s canola oil and the problem immediately went away. I subsequently spoke with a Costco corporate guy who tried to blame the problem on anything but the oil. He essentially told me that I was the only person in the world with this problem. Yeah. Right. I once upon a time cherished my Costco membership. Not anymore.

This happened to me with a similar fryer and the potatoes were room temperature. It still foamed, although previous uses did not do this. I suspected the oil needed replaced. However, this person said it happened with new oil! (????)

The product that you put in the oil should be room temp,if not this will happen.

Theres pink foam all over my motor and pink foam coming out of where the flud goes?

pink foam indicates a problem oil cooler in the radiator
it puts transmission oil in the coolant system and coolant in the transmission
the fix is to remove the radiator and flush the engine properly
replace the radiator (new one)
then replace the oil and flush out the transmission Check for water in the transmission oil first as you could be lucky that the split in the cooler only allowed oil out but closed of to stop water getting into the system

My volvo has sat up for hey year and a half and I put a new battery in it yesterday and crank it up and its own a little bit like the older all those it wasn't quiet like it normally he is so I'm wondering...

I would add a little Sea Foam product to oil and if you have 1/2 tank of fuel, add 1/2 can of Sea Foam to gas.
If your gas is old the Sea Foam should help.

Hello, The air filter in mypush Poulan is really dirty. HOw should I clean it? I did wash it in a very soapy soultion and it's dry now. Do I oil it before I put it back in?

Depends on the type of filter. You don't oil a paper cartridge, but you do oil a foam one. Some mowers have a foam sleeve over the paper cartridge. Oil it, then squeeze out the excess oil,

Foam will allow liquids including oils to seep to the wood beneath the formica causing swelling then separation. Use a good sealant recommended by your local hardware store. Quite easy to apply and worth the extra $$$.

I have 1995 toyota camry with 2.2 liter engine.I installed a new oil pan gasket,and valve cover gasket,cause there was alot of oil leaking from that area.All the work was done about two months ago.there...

I have the same car and the same problem. I can see the oil shooting out at the (upside down) rear, right side of the oil pan. This side of the oil pan is covered by a piece of plastic foam. There are no bolts on this side of the pan. Toyota recommends grey Formagaskit to seal the pan. The natural flow for this leak is all over the bell housing. The piece of plastic foam is attached to bell housing inspection cover. Good Luck!!!

Type of oil for pressure washer pump.

any anti foaming oil ,you can use multi grade but it goes milky with minute air bubbles and gives the appearance of getting water in.most manufacturers recommend anti-foaming oil

I dont know which comet pump you have, but it is just easier to get a new pump from one of the pressure washer companies on the internet and they sell them on ebay. You can also probably get a better pump that will fit your engine as well. Also, have you tried just changing the oil and not fill it too full? On my 5000 lb washer, if i fill the oil too high when I change the oil, it will foam some. Hope this helps you, Rick

If your oil is not over full its not getting any water in it..Sometimes oil gets moisture in it and it collects on the cap or if its a cheap oil it foams up a little.Nothing to worry about as long as your oil level stays the same..Don't worry be happy.Hope this helps you and have a great night..

Driving with overfilled oil, rattling noise.

It likely has little foam in it...most oils have an anti-foaming agent as part of their formula. just drain the pan and re-fill till it's at the proper level. Use a very clean pan and don't drop any road dirt from undercariage in there. Save and use extra for between service top off.
