Question about Fujitsu LifeBook E6560 Notebook
My laptop (toshiba satellite pro A100) screen keeps jumping about, and eventually just goes bright white/blue colours. Ive tried taking the panel off and seeing if the conection cable is faulty, but its not. the warranty ran out about 2months ago. If I wiggle the screen a bit, it comes back on, but not for long. Im hoping this is a problem i can sort myself as a new screen and fitting will be around £250
Yeah, from the sounds of it, it could be an LCD issue.
We can try to rule out the software side by trying to boot to safe mode, then check if the same issue
will come up with the LCD. If it doesn't, then it's got to be a driver issue with the video.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the video driver.
If it doesn't fix the issue, try updating the video driver from your computers video manufacturer.
If not, disable startup programs by running - msconfig from the start> run...then click on the tab that says "startup", click on the button "disable all". Restart computer and try again to see if this will help solve the LCD issue that your having.
If not, try to reinstall the windows OS. If after reinstalling windows and all the drivers the issue will still re-occur then definitely, it's an LCD issue.... =)
