Question about Husqvarna Garden

Found a part loose in my husqvarna chain saw

I have a husqvarna 350 chainsaw, which is about one year old. I found what looks like a pin that is a little flared out in the center, loose in the starter section of the saw, but also may have come from the carburator section. Where does this pin belong? The pin is about one inch long. The saw still works but I am worried about damaging the saw.

The "Illustrated parts lists" for your saw are here:
Try to identify the loose pin on the drawings. If unable to identify where it came I suggest your visit your local Husky dealer. Please advise me where it belonged once it is repaired. TIA

Muffler keeps vibrating off

On your saw it IS a problem. The Husqvarna 350 has a long history of this very problem. I recommend you contact a local Husqvarna dealer, there may a warranted repair, at the very least they have been dealing with problem long enough to know how to provide a long term repair.

Husqvarna 385xp leaks gas when held on side, does not leak when held straight up. Saw about a year old use to rip lumber subject to a lot of vibration and running wide open.

Hello J
An example Husqvarna "IPL, 385/ 390 (EPA), 2006-10 ,Chain Saw" follows (may not be your saw):
I think pn 544 32 49-06 on Detail H is a fuel vent hose that has cracked or become disconnected. It appears the only other hose is the carburetor feed. If my saw and one hose has failed I would change both.

All 385 IPLs can be found here:
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000; please contact Husqvarna for single digit clarification
15 = week produced – March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

Looking for proper h/l jet settings on my husqvarna 266 se chainsaw..or a manual i can download ...i found one...but it was in swedish

rule of thumb is 1 torn out from closed will get you started. then run at high speed and richen the H screw till you hear it just starting to bogg down every few seconds. Then let off the throttle and adjust the L screw till it runs smooth the richen it a quarter turn. Thats the old fashioned way I have been using for 40 years

Wanted coil ignition module for Husqvarna 394xp chainsaw

I found an IPL for your saw here:
Enter 394 as model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – for use with IPL
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

I chose the 92-10. The coil and wire were manufactured as separate pieces. I found both at Jacks Small engines. It is interesting that the same ignition wire fits a Poulan at 1/2 the cost. About $86 for both pieces at Jacks. HTH

What size file to sharpen chain for 55 rancher

It depends on the chain you have installed on the chainsaw. You can look at the numbers stamped on the drive link side of the cutting chain and it should have a 2 digit number that correlates to the size.

The factory chain supplied with the #455 rancher was a .325" pitch 3/8" chain.

Here's a link to the specs for your saw with some useful info

Hope you found this very helpful and best regards!
