A black sometimes blue screen pops up when putting in a game to play that says. Error Occured turn machine off and contact Nintindo. Which I have done and had to wait on the phone forever and never got to speak to a live person.
If this problem occurs for every game you try, every time, then it is most likely a hardware failure, and you will indeed need to contact Nintendo for repair information.
If it's only certain games, or only some of the time, then make sure the controllers and memory card(s) are securely inserted, the game disc is clean, the laser lens that reads the disc is clean, and that the disc area is free of dust and dirt.
