For hardware/driver detection you need software like driver magician / driver guide / driver detective .

these softwares can detect your unknown hardware and can search latest drivers

you can see here how these works http://www.drivermagician.com/

You can try this small application (http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz_150.zip), just unzip & run it and you'll see the details and the brand/model name of your CPU, motherboard and memory. And also for other hardwares (like graphics accelerator, network cards, ...) you can install and try this application (http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcw2008_v1871.exe) to get more detailed information about your computer's hardware. These applications are very simple and easy to use, I think it won't take too much time to get the knowledge of your computer's hardware. After this step, you can go online and check the website of the each hardware's manufacturer's for their latest driver according to your operating system. I hope this helps.

Hi there, trying to install an ASUS EN210 silent graphics card in my HP Pavilion 061 desktop. If I put the card in and then boot the PC it hangs at the 'checking dram' section of the initial boot...

Brand Desktops dont always let any hardware to be installed you should call HP to see if that video card is supported and see how they can help you.
Ive seen HP computers that block out Wireless Cards (laptops) and not letting boot

Dear sir I have one problem . i don't have a intel celeron audio drivers. please tell me, how to download that software ?

The Audio Drivers have nothing to do with the cpu..It has to do with the MAKE of the PC and/or the manufacturer of the motherboard, so if its a custom built-go to hte MOBO's manufactures website or if its a name brand pc- go to their website-if still no luck try.....http://www.driverfiles.net/

Hi no sound on my laptop need help to download free drivers

look at your brand name on your computer,if its dell or something else just go to there website and click on support, type in your model number and there will be a list of drivers, pick your sound drivers from the list.

If you have the disc that came with your computer they will be on it.

I have 256 MB RAM which is slow, can i upgrade it to 512 MB RAM

Depends completely on what motherboard the computer has and what it supports, I could check on it if you have and brand and model of the computer, or from the motherboard.

Sure the prosessor speed doesn't affect the memory amount possible don't worry about that, just need to find out how much is supported and at what speed etc.

Thanks,
Ekse
