Question about Haier HDC10LBS Stainless Steel 10-Cup Coffee Maker
I love the coffee maker so I do not want to have to purchase a different one, however I can't find a store in my area who still sells it. I broke the coffee pot and just want to replace it. Can Haier send me a new pot, or am I going to have to replace the entire coffee maker?
I have the same problem with my coffee maker, but I purchased mine in Walgreens more than a year. In Walgreens it has a different name (Signature Classics), but I'm sure its exaclty the same as the Haier HDC10LBS. I called and they do have replacements. The model#XQ698LT ITEM#W14A7123 and the Customer Service Phone#1 800 645 3869. The cost should be around $10 with Shipping and handling

Ordered two replacement carafes for the HDC10LBS or QX678TG model Everstar Haier Stainless Steel 10-cup Coffee Maker today. Bought from Home Depot. Carafe broke. Liked it so much and couldn't find a replacement pot, I found one on Ebay and bought that. Now that carafe broke and I just saw the below solution with the 800-313-8495 number. Works! It's Haier's customer service.....if you tell them you want to order using the HDC10LBS number, they can find it. It's 11.99 and 7.99 for shipping. A little high but I love the coffee maker that much. I went ahead and purchased two just in case. :) Did this today, March 21, 2009.

I found the replacement. I went on line to Haier .com go to North America (America), go to Products, than to your middle right hand Small Appliances, you will see the coffee maker. Go to bottom right hand corner under Customer Support click on Parts and Accessories. on the next page in the upper left hand corner there is a number

I tried that. I even contacted Haier directly. They do not manufacture replacement pots. The only suggestion I received was to buy a new coffee maker.

We have a signature classics coffee pot in the condo where we stay at the beach. I melted the top to the carafe in the dishwasher. There is a phone number on the bottom of the coffee pot to call for customer service - 1-800-645-3867. I do not know the maker, but the item number and model (from the same label) were what they needed to fix me up.

After a trip to Macy's and looking over all options, I chose the Haier Coffee Maker. At this point, I was on at least my 4th coffee maker in the last year having tried Mr. Coffee's, Braun, and who knows what else. On day 3 the glass pot cracked. Having read the posts here I didn't hold out much hope in finding a replacement. Although I did look into the Walgreens Signature series and found that didn't work. I packed the maker and pot and was planning on taking both to the trash when I thought since I liked the look of the coffee maker itself and it brews a nice cup of coffee I would try it and place a to go cup (I had one that fit although the majority are too tall) and poured water in the resevoir to see if I could use it that way. I waited and listened while it gurgled and churned then ended. I pulled out my coffee cup and it was empty. I lifted up the lid to find the water poured into the resevoir was now in the coffee filter (pretty nifty) but the pot is designed to touch thereby opening the release level allowing the coffee to flow downward into the pot. So I just gave it some help. I manually with finger (be careful it is hot) or with a butter knife depress button while coffee pours into the cup. That is my 50% solution. Coffee is great. I won't spend another dollar on coffee makers that leak and otherwise disappoint. I purchased an aeropress after reading about all the options (similar to a french press) and will keep my Haier for the drip version. Hope this helps.
